I haven't received such letter, could it be for certain production date. Or what wdimagineer said could be true also. He has more insider than I do.

Actually, I can confirm which car it is referring to. I had a slow moment for a second
. The part I whited out in the first sentence is the Vehicle VIN number. I'll check real quick and update.Ha, yes, it was our 2011 X3 VIN number. I just checked my X5 VIN. Sorry for the alarm. I'll remove the post!
