Chassis error

So the first time I dropped the truck off at the service center, they reinitialized one of the control modules. Well the error came back the next day. I dropped it off again today and now they say they have ordered the Vertical Sensor for the Left Front Shock and it will arrive by Tuesday. But I'm still not convinced that's the issue based on someone's post over here. I couldn't find that thread. So should I start reading up on the lemon law?..

What error message did you get? I also got one and the dealer said they won't be able to fix it until July's Program update

It's the same error... Do you have dynamic handling package? Wondering if it's related to dhp?

No, didn't get the DHP
Your dealer confirmed that it's related to the shock???
Now I'm really confused, cuz mine service advisor assured me that it's related to a service bulletin that will be issued on Mid July.

That's what they are saying but I have no confidence in them. I'm pretty sure it will have to back in for the 3rd time.

Unfortunately a first year new model cars seem to have these issues which can take longer to "fix". I had these errors in my 07 e70 and it took a few tries to fix it. Like all other first MY BMW's I have owned, they will eventually get it figured out.

They unexpectedly got the part today instead of Tuesday. So I got the truck back. Let's see how long before the error comes back.

If you get this Chassis Error Message it means you are leaking Adaptive Drive hydraulic oil.

Bigtop, that error is different from what I was getting. See the image posted by ljx*****n. Mine has been error free for 24 hours now. May be it's fixed by replacing the sensor.

It doesn't matter bud a dozen different things could have caused this error. It is just a Generic catch all error that applies to the DSC.
