She's HERE!!

I was pleasantly surprised this AM while checking into the status of my build. Found that it was "At my dealer".
I'm having a few minor changes done before pick up (this evening). It's past midnight and I cant sleep so just thought I'd share.
Thanks all for the numerous informative and interesting treads! will be posting more pics after the weekend.

My Build:
2014 X5 35d
- x line trim
- DG ext
- black Dakota leather
- natural fineline wood trim
- DHP
- cold weather package
- lux seating package
- LED lights
- premium package
- Driver assistance
- Drv assistance plus w ACC
- 4 zone climate control
- park assistance
- ceramic controls
- window shades
- HK sound

the deal was struck w the supply of a complete set of 469's w tires/TPM's and fender flares PLUS install costs, WITH 500 OFF MSRP(w 449 wheels)!! along with KBB private party sale price on my E70 (I was happy)..
All I have are these few pics to tide me over till tomorrow evening..

Congrats! I'm looking forward to seeing more pics. I've not seen the ceramic controls and wonder how they look.

Sounds as though you got a good deal. Would you be willing to share the name of your dealer?

Absolutely!!
Dave Walter BMW in Akron Ohio. I deal w Shujaat Siddiqui (General manager) directly. If not him ask for Eric (specify "older Eric"; as there are two of them there and I don't remember his last name). I have nothing but good things to say about them. Always willing to go the extra mile ( sometimes literally). Even after we moved to PA from OH, I make the trek out there for all my needs/wants.
(Mention my name (Providence), it may get you some favors)
Good luck.

Congrats, you're going to love it! I've had my 35d for about 3 weeks and I think the drivetrain is perfectly matched for a vehicle of this type - and the highway mileage is almost unbelievable.

I picked it up at the Performance Center and the indicated MPG when I got home to NJ was over 34! ...and that included some local driving and frequent downshifts to keep the engine speed moving around during break-in. The on-board computer might be a little off, so I plan to confirm it by manual calculation on my next trip, which may not be for a while.
