Problems using Send to Car from Google Maps
I have BMW Assist and Concierge service and recently noted that I am no longer able to locate an address on Google Maps and send it to my car. It acts like it is sent from Google but no bueno when I get into the car.
Calling BMW Assist and asking them to send the address to me works and after their message arrives the ones I've sent from Google arrive. Any thoughts? Thanks! |

When I talked to BMW assist once and told them I had tried it twice, once it worked, other time it didn't, they told me to make sure to enter the e-mail address in ALL CAPS. That made no sense to me, but that's what I do now and 90% of the time it works. Sometimes it takes like 10-15 minutes though to seemingly show up.

On a related issue, I can no longer find this option in the new google maps. If I revert to the old google maps, it is there. Anyone been able to get this to work in the new google maps? Evidently the old one is going away soon.

That's where it is in the old Google Maps, but if you switch to the new one that option is missing. I've just reverted back to the old Google Maps for now. Evidently they have not moved that feature over to the new Google Maps yet, but I'm assuming they will at some point.
