May and October, irrespective of mileage. The car sees under 10k miles per year, and the seasonal changes are to swap between 10W60 and 0W40. Car sees around 6 track days in the summer.

Every 5K...to coordinate the change of the S/C oil as well.

After every track event is probably overkill and would get really expensive.

Not me. Just street driving. I just don't believe in the extended mileage. Oil is cheap insurance.

I would go every 6-8 track days depending mileage, if I was driving cross country with 5 days on the last oil change I would probably change early, otherwise try to get close to 8..,but usually chicken out and go around 6. I worry more about days than mileage in the summer, every 5k in the winter.

About every 6 track days. Do about 15-16 track days a year.
Also have S/C.

Therefore three changes a year ( 1 free one and 2 DIY's).

Average 12000 total miles a year.

Also always start engine up like 10 minutes prior to session so oil is at temp prior to going on track.

I have been changing oil every 4 track weekends - but I may extend that to every 5 weekends based upon two Blackstone oil analyses which have been coming back consistently glowing.

I don't think one can use an "every X track days" metric effectively. Some cars were broken in better than others. Tracks are different - and cars are pushed at different levels. Environmental factors vary. Oils used vary.

The end goal is change oil at the right time. A Blackstone oil analysis will tell you what that cycle is for YOUR car - based on facts. Otherwise - we are just guessing based on popular belief.
