AIM Solo DL Memory Size??

Is there documentation anywhere on how many sessions or time or laps that the Solo DL can hold before it overwrites the oldest data? We tracked for a weekend. When I went to download it, it had dumped some of the oldest data from the first morning. Of course that data had my PB lap on it, so I really wanted to analyze that lap. How about a way to increase internal memory size?

Is there a way to selectively delete sessions without hooking it up to a laptop, so you can dump sessions that you know you will not want to overlay later?

It looks like I may just have to download them once per day which I don't want to have to do.

that doesn't sound right, I have months worth of track sessions on mine. Also, I'd make sure only the tracks you need are downloaded on the unit (as opposed to the whole database).
Check with GPS manager.

No idea how to delete without the laptop, it's never been a problem, sorry.

i didn't expect to have months worth as i updated the firmware. i only had 2 days with 2 drivers with a total of 25 sessions or so. saturday morning laps are missing when i hook up and download.

i have already whittled down the list of maps tremendously.

25 sessions in 2 days? That's a lot, even with 2 drivers. Did it say anything before overwriting the sessions?

My Solo is packed away for the winter but looking at my files, I get 3 files per session (.dat, .drk, .gpk) with each file 1-2MB. I have ~41MB of files for October alone and I know I haven't had to delete anything from the unit.

16 sessions total would be normal at mosty HPDE's with 2 drivers in different groups, but i was allowed to run 8 sessions per day because of how they split run groups and my wife ran three straight sessions sunday afternoon when things really thinned out. we could each run 8 sessions per day if we were not sharing a car. yellow (me) can run with white and with blue solo, and blue solo (wife) can run with yellow and with blue. you can get in a lot of seat time. basically anybody who is solo can get 8 sessions per day. white can run with instructors or with yellow.

i never saw it say anything about overwriting sessions. annoying as hell though as it was my personal best.

Currently there isn't a way to selectively delete session(s) on the Solo/Solo DL without a PC.

One way to reduce the file sizes is to decrease the sampling frequency.

For less useful channels such as fuel level, distance traveled, battery levels, etc, you can basically reduce them to 1 Hz or turn them off completely. Water, oil and outside temperatures are probably good at 1 Hz as well.
