BMW Bear Mountain Run this sunday.

Hey guys, trying to plan a final BMW run before the season ends. was thinking about a bear mountain run early in the morning to avoid traffic.

Its going down this sunday, early in the morning. Be prepared to be at the meeting point around 7am. I will give precise meeting time and place within the next 2 days. Clear your schedules gentlemen, the boys are coming out for the last time of the season.

Just to make things simple, we will use the same meeting points as the previous bear mountain run that was on the 16th of October.

TIME: 7AM - RUN WILL START AT 7:30AM SHARP!
LOCATION: The Reef Restaurant (92 Roa Hook Rd. Route 9 at Annsville Circle. Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567)

People coming from Brooklyn/Queens/LongIsland will be meeting at:
College Point Multiplex Cinemas
2855 Ulmer Street, Whitestone, NY 11357
At 6AM. We will Leave to Reef Restuarant at Exactly 6:15AM

So, NY people meetup at the multiplex cinemas, them we will head to the reef restaurant because there's a gas station next to it which is very convenient. We will then go to Bear Mountain's high point. the route will be improvised. we will stop in a couple of random places to take pictures and regroup.

On the day of the event, we will decide how many teams/groups we need to keep everyone safe.

I think the 4th of December is pretty late for a bear run...you have to consider temps and people using summer tires. Also it's much cooler early in the morning.

Just something to think about. My summer setup comes off this weekend.

What exactly is implied by a "BMW run" then? Run the cars from 60-130 or something? I thought it was a cruise or something

i mean, as long as there is traffic around us, we must behave ourselves... but the second that road opens up, we are going to rape the asphalt.

hmmm I like this idea. How often do you guys do this? I should have ~800 miles on my car by then because I'm driving down for performance delivery and driving it up friday and saturday. It still may be cutting it close though.

Last time for the season we start back spring time and continue until around this time next year. These things are so much fun. Just go all out for 2 days and saturday get the 1200 mile service done and boom we good to go...

I think this weekend seems to be the ideal thing.... conditions seem good, and people are packing away their shit soon so lets get there tnhis weekend!
'

trying to figure out a meeting time at a good lcoation. i figure we should all meet up at an area around 6-630 so the run can be with as little traffic as possible. we should have all meet and up and be ready to roll out together at 730 for the latest...give me suggestions, im just trying to get out as early as possible so we can encounter as little traffic as possible. fucking hate traffic.

I don't think we will have much traffic. Too cold for the slow people to be out and about.

I'm good with 6:30 why don't we do the same gas station from last time. the one on northern blvd.
