Ferodo DS2500 pads - Experience?
Guys:
Considering the Ferodo DS2500 for my E90. I do probably 2-3 DE events per year (NHIS and Limerock), and the rest of the time it's my daily driver. If I end up doing more than one day, I'll prob switch out for my standby Pagid Yellows. Never used Ferodos, so any feedback? Quality? Results? I'm an intermediate track driver, so I probably don't beat on the brakes as hard as some and NHIS/Limerock max speeds are prob 120 in the M3. Thanks much in advance. -Brian |

A few people here have had very good results with these pads.
The StopTech street sport pad is another pad that's good for daily use and some track events.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

I had good results. I'm back to PF-01s now, but a couple of years ago the selection was pretty slim. I got four days out of them in advanced groups on street tires. If I remember correctly, I thought they had kind of a numb feel to them, but I was running rubber brake lines and stock caliper mounts. I don't think you can go wrong with them.
