I'm 39 with ZCP... I have had both a non-ZCP and ZCP... get the ZCP. Not quite sure what age has to do with it. It isn't like ZCP dramatically changes ride quality or anything.

Just don't want to have buyers remorse either way I decide to go. Looking for straight forward answers instead of the twenty year old responses like, "what does age matter."

If money isn't an issue, get the ZCP. The car feels firmer but not more harsh or punishing than non-ZCP in comfort mode. The ride height is lowered slightly so it looks a little nicer. The wheels are great and I can only imagine it would help resale later. Also, with the changed MDM mode and the adaptive Sport mode, there are electronic enhancements too. IMO, the only downside is cost. So, like I said, if costs isn't an issue then there is zero downside to getting ZCP.

Thanks - Cost not an issue. Resale value not even a consideration on whether to get it or not. I get options and packages for me, not for the resale possibilities. Its the ultimate driving machine and I want to enjoy it for me.

I have driven an 08' E92 w/18's , 09' E93 with 220M's, a new 11' E92 w/ZCP and a CPO 11' E92 w/ZCP.

08' E92 vs 11' E92 w/ZCP in sport mode, I preferred the 08' and pretty much decided no ZCP. Then I took a test drive at another dealership and drove the CPO 11' E92 w/ZCP in comfort mode and I liked it much better then imagined.

Hurry up and release the 2012's..........

I'm 27 and I have the 2011 E90 ZCP, I think it's perfect. I live in LA and as many know the freeways and roads out here kinda suck... I've only scraped on some really steep driveways 2-3 times, even then it's not the bumper but the black felt pads that are under the car. My wife has no issues with the comfort of the ride, EDC usually stays on comfort or normal with her in the car. My dad who is 53 has driven it a few times and has never said it was too stiff...

I really can't comment on non ZCP, I have never been in one nor have I been in a non EDC M3... I guess I'm kinda sheltered... Lol!!

It's a worthwhile option for someone planning to leave the car stock. I knew that was my intention for the car, bought the option and I like it. For folks who may have more intense track use in mind, the suspension will be replaced anyway, so no need to spend the extra money.

I'm 47 and I have ZCP (sounds like a 12 step meeting), if you don't want to mod the ZCP is a great buy. If you move on to a aftermarke CO setup and you like the 359 wheels it still makes sense as the wheels new are in the $2200 range.

I'll play... I just turned 40 three weeks ago and picked up my E90 two and a half weeks ago with ZCP. I love the way it looks and feels.

I think you're in the perfect age to put OEM ZCP wheels.
Spend money for good high quality, nice but subtle wheels with subtle drop.
Just don't put cheap knock off wheels or super low drops.

I'm 63 and have Dinan suspension and APEX wheels, but I think that anyone over ten is old enough for ZCP.

I am 56 and ZCP is a no brainer to order on a new M3.I have it on my 11 and it really does make a difference on track with no real downside on the street.Age has dickall to do with having ZCP

perfect age for ZCP, I'm only 30 and I'm done with most of the aftermarket stuff as it's almost impossible to beat or even match the quality and overall feel of OEM. I got ZCP for my second M3 of this generation cause I plan to just leave it stock and drive it.

... and I think you can notice the difference in height compared to non-zcp and the wheels look more aggressive.

I'm 27 and ordered the ZCP on my sedan, haven't ridden in any other E9x so i cannot comment otherwise but I enjoy it. I would get it again.
