Installing Ground Control Conversion Kit?

In spite of never doing any suspension work before I'm going to attempt to install the Ground Control conversion kit soon on my own. I'm a cheap skate and just couldn't bring myself to pay someone almost as much for the install as the kit itself. I'm somewhat handy and mechanically inclined so hopefully this won't be a huge disaster

That being said, does anyone have any tips for a suspension virgin? I do have an impact wrench and spring compressor and I'll be following a few of the DIY posts I've found on the forums. It would just be nice to avoid some basic mistakes that you often learn by doing something wrong.

Thanks!
