1 M build quality

Random question i know: Still awaiting my 1M and have been watching all the videos out there so far. What is the build quality like on these 1M's, as i noticed on one of the videos the doors seemed abit tinny when being opened and closed. Might have just been the sound quality on the video though. Do the doors have a nice muffled clunk like we are accustomed to with the BMW's or are the doors alot lighter?

Rest assured, build quality is excellent. Muffled "clunking" of doors and all...

Lol only thing I've noticed that is a notch below any other BMW I've owned or driven is that the gas cap seems flimsier.

Build is good, in fact i think better than my X5.
Over bumpy roads i do hear a slight creak coming from the rear deck.

I'd say the 1er is not quite as plush as a 3, some of the cabin plastics are pretty ropey, the lower part of the dash and steering column surround for instance. Also, the panel gaps aren't exactly up to modern standards, but on the whole it's well a built, solid car.

I've got a small rattle from the rear suspension / trunk area too.
