How many had traded their 1 up for a 1M?

I am kind of wondering how many 1 owners here had traded (or going to trade) up for a 1M? I am thinking about trade in my 1 and lease a 1M just to get the same monthly payment. Do you think that it is possible to get a 3 years lease on a 1 M with monthly payment $600-750 range? I am tempted. Please share your opinion on this subject. Thanks.

With the money you spend on upgrades you would be better off just getting the 1M.

Yes, I've traded my 135i, 1M due in 11 days :-) Can't comment on your US finance question though.

I have a 1M on order, and when I get it I'll either be trading in or selling my 2011 135i. I'll have see what they offer me for the trade, and whether I think I can sell it for enough more to make up for the $1800 in taxes I'll save if I trade in.

Have your dealer do a "courtesy trade" as you sell private and do the paperwork through them. That's what I'm doing.

^^ Or you can do what I did and sell the car to an individual but thru the dealership to take advantage of the tax credit. My dealer charged a nominal fee for facilitating this but it's worth it in the long run.

Exactly. We call it a convenience trade in these parts.
