Lol yea the music is annoying...this is the first time ive seen that white strip of ice and water. I assume its to test the handling of the car in slippery situations...

^ I think the water just provides a lower friction surface (edit) as stated above, to test slippery conditions. The painted area probably is at a very slight depression. Possible?

Looks like soap suds to me, we use that for our wet skid pad during car control schools to reduce traction.

Too bad the video doesn't tell how they feel about the 1M. The driver races R8 GT3, so his opinion would matter. Maybe you have to buy a magazine or subscription for full video?

It's just water on tiles - standard wet handling surface.
