Hey Guys! Can someone give me a rough estimate of how much it costs to lease a 1M?

Hey guys has anyone leased an 1M? What are you paying if you do not mind me asking? Any information would be very helpful thank you!

Assuming you negotiated MSRP and depending on options, local sales tax and dealer markup on money factor you're looking at ~ $850-$970 month.
The MF on this car is pretty high.

on a net $47709 (no options european delivery $45489, fees $505.50, sales tax $1723.84), the lease quote i got for 36mo/15k was $794-819 for $1500 down, $763-788 for $2500 down.

These lease quotes seem very high to me for the 1M. It looks like finance option may be best. Here is a data point. A $70k MSRP 2011 M3 can be leased for less than $800 per month. That is $500 over invoice, 36 months @ 10k miles/yr, residual 61%, interest rate 3.48% (money factor 0.00145) - BMW loyalty discount about 0.75-1%, no money down and does not include sales tax.

I would think you should be able to lease a $50k 1M for say $700/month for 36 months @ 10k miles/yr plus sales tax. If not the M3 is a better deal to lease. I hope this puts it into perspective.

Wow you really can't get a deal on this thing can you?

I'm leasing my 50K 135 for about $430 a month

Jesus, how much did you put down to get $430/mo on a $50k car? That number is shockingly low considering I put $5k down on a $43k car and mine is $585/mo.

The MF on this car is pretty high.
BTW my lease calculation was based on a $0 down lease, 36 month 15k/year, 53% residual, CA sales tax of 9.5%, 0.002 MF (not incl dealer markup which can be a max of 0.0004) on a fully optioned car (~$53875 Cap Cost). Don't ever put money down on a lease, you're better off putting it on security deposits (MSDs) which will decrease your MF by 0.00007 for each security deposit you put down, plus you get those security deposits back at the end of the lease.
For me it's simply that the 1M is the car I want, because it is a new M car that is so limited in availability its not really about getting a deal. This is the first car I have ever paid MSRP for but I still managed to get base MF, I would not consider another car just because it was a better deal; I would consider another car if I was cross shopping for it but for me at least there really are no others I'm interested in right now.

Love those multiple security deposits! Even with the ED discount and 7 MSDs, the low residual value killed the lease deal for the 1M.

I agree with HKG... never put money down on a lease. Use the resources that BMW has given us - negotiate from ED invoice and MSDs - to bring the price down.
