BSM looks much better in the flesh, I still think its the sleeper color.

GREAT STUFF! Seriously can't see the body as well with the BSM, but I'm sure in person it looked amazing. Jealous to have missed it... Thanks for the pics!

BSM FTW!!!!!! All three colors have their specialties, but a clean BSM is untouchable!!!!

I don't get this. " can't see the body " thing regarding Black... all I can say is that in person, it is amazing... The 1M in black just looks like a bulldog ready to pounce.. With Valencia orange, you do get the contrast in the side mirrors, which really looks cool... it is my second favorite of the three.

I ordered BSM and have no regrets about it. I'll see it in person on Wednesday. I have seen VO so far at the NYC auto show and while its a unique color its just not me. Maybe for a second car it would be nice. As far as AW goes I like it on its own but next to a BSM one it just doesn't look as good IMO. I think the AW looks better from behind because of the contrasting diffuser color, etc. BSM wins the battle from the front though and overall. But hey we each ordered our own favorite color right?

In pics black cars seem to lose the details, but in person its not the case. Non-black cars always have more contrast obviously.

I have never been interested in a black car but after seeing the M in black, I must admit I have considered it. I like the blacks and whites because I like the way red taillights look against those colors.

Simple: go to the thread comparing all three colors and look at the front pics, side pics, and back pics. All the details and body lines disappear on the black one, mainly the front air curtain slits and the ones on the rear bumper. Also, if the picture angle is not right, the side details on the front fenders are gone. Don't get me wrong, I just saw a BSM 1M in person and the thing looks amazing! But if you're looking for a color that highlights all details at all times under any lighting conditions, black is not it.
