Question for all you Coilover owners

Hello,

Here is a (few) simple question(s) that I feel I need to ask.

For those of you who have completely swapped out your Coilovers for Aftermarket ones, such as KW V3's, with EDC equipped cars.

Questions:

- Do you miss having EDC?

- Why did you decide that you did not want to keep EDC anymore?

- Is having the car lower, and having better a feel, give you more enjoyment than having EDC?

- Last but not least, How is the comfort level compared to Normal EDC setting?

Thanks,

Kian

i miss the comfort mode whenever i go through bumpy roads. the way my KWs are set now, they feel stiffer than the sportiest mode of the EDC. but on bumpy roads, you wished you could switch back to comfort at a touch of a button.

- Why did you decide that you did not want to keep EDC anymore?
because the sportiest EDC mode is not sporty enough.

- Is having the car lower, and having better a feel, give you more enjoyment than having EDC?
my car's ride height is very close to stock, only slightly lower. didnt install KWs to lower the car, just wanted a firmer ride with less body roll.

- Last but not least, How is the comfort level compared to Normal EDC setting?
depends on how you set up your KWs or other coilover kit.

I have KWV3s. Don't miss EDC one bit. I stuck with KW's recommended height and shock settings, and the ride is comparable to the normal setting overall. It's as smooth as stock over small bumps, but it's stiffer over dips / dives in the road. I like the ride a lot better - feels much more direct and predictable and there's a bit less roll. Also the drop looks perfect.
