What happens if I mix and match?
Say if I just remove my PSS10 fronts and put my stock on, while leaving my PSS10 rears on? It's just a waste of time and money to have to completely remove my coilovers for their warranty inspection. Advice please! Thanks in advance.

In the morning call the dealer that you are not going to, and ask them to speak to any service adviser. Then ask him if your coilovers will have any impact on warranty inspection. Just dont tell him your name or vin number or anything like that. You just need to find out if coilovers have to come off.

Sorry I wasn't clear, this has nothing to do with BMW warranty. I'm talking about Bilstein's warranty inspection. You have to ship back your defective/broken parts for inspection before they fix/send you a new one.

^ as long as you don't drive crazy, you'll be fine. the PSS10 are stiffer than stock, and you're going to get some oversteer if you push it, but you should be fine. Just take it easy, etc, leave DSC on, etc.

Agreed. Just drive like you have a Camry and it should be fine.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Don't worry about it at all. When I had the moton's continually failing on me, I had random shocks and springs on my car at any given moment. The car actually feels ok with 3 coilovers and one stock shock because the swaybar equalizes things out.

Thanks for the insight! I won't be driving hard or anything until I have my full set up back. I'm considering upgrading to JRZ RS as soon as I get more info.

Are you happy with the Bilsteins? Most people on hear are running KWv3 or clubsport. Any driving impressions? Im looking to upgrade from ZCP to coilover. Thanks for any info.

I'm happy with the Bilsteins, minus my bad luck with them. Although, it's not to say that I didn't have problems with my KW. Comparing them to the KW V3 on my old car, I feel like the PSS10 is more suitable for my need at the time(90% street 10% track). The V3's have always felt too soft for me regardless of the setting, lead me to believe it's not really designed for the track. I'd love to give clubsports a chance, except they don't have warranty.
