18" VMR 18x9.5 ET22s fit with 380mm Brembo BBK?

I have the above wheels (VMR 710) for the track and was wondering if anyone has had these on their car with a Big Brake Kit? Specifically 380mm up front?

I'm in the market for a BBK, as it were.

380 MM Stoptechs will work with a lot of the 18" wheels readily available like the Apex & TR Motorsport wheels. The Brembo 380's are 7mm larger so it is tougher to find an 18" wheel that will work with them.

thanks but I'm not in the market for new Wheels as I already have the ones listed above. I need to know about Brembo Rotors. As I understand it, the Stop Tech Rotors are different in size as well.

If you really want to have the BBK+18" combo.... you better look else where and stay away from Brembos. (I am running the Brembo 380mm)

18" wheels that fit Brembo's: VOLK TE-37, VR2, CCW. That's all I know.

You're better off getting Stoptech's so you have more clearance.

If you want to use 18" wheels, look StopTech and AP Racing.

Thanks for the input guys. Much appreciated. Sounds like I might have to look into other than Brembo unless I want smaller rotors or different wheels.

Good to know.

Those yellow Brembo's are definitely not 380mm.
OP should ask VMR of the vender he bought them from. I don't think they were designded to fit a BBK of any type.

The 18" VRM 710s do not clear a 380mm kit. For that matter, they do not clear the 368mm AP Racing kit.

Well, that's not good. Time for new wheels then.

Not a chance. I'm not paying for new wheels and then track rubber for 19" wheels just so I can fit bigger rotors on my car. I'll just have to go with 365s.

Has anyone ever driven some hard track sessions with both a 380 and a 365? If so, is there much difference in the amount of work they are up to? I assume the 365s are still far better than stock in terms of fade resistence?

I typically run my car at BIR which is a pretty fast track and is notoriously hard on brakes. My OEMs start to fade pretty good after a few hard laps.

I've never driven with the 365 rotors, but my guess is they are much more resistant to fade due to the size of the pads. the OEM brakes provide great stopping power, but the pads are so small that they overheat quickly. my theoretical understanding is that the 365 kit would be a significant improvement in fade resistance due to the larger pads.

Who makes the VR2 wheel? Is that Volk Racing?

My bad, it's just the TE-37 VR by VOLK.

So I bought the 365mm Brembos some time ago and went to put on my track wheels last night to get ready for a weekend at the track and those DON'T FIT either.

I have a set of 12mm spacers but did not have them with me at the time, so I'm going to give those a try this evening. I'm hoping they work otherwise this could turn out to be an expensive set of brakes (plus new track wheels)

I'll be the first to admit that I'm stupid for assuming that the 365s fit all 18s. I should have measured those as well.
