Nice, I sold my boat in 2009 to buy some foreclosed homes. Now if the market would turn I could possibly buy a BMW boat. That is a little large for my liking but looks great, wonder if they will make a 1 series (smaller) type of boat. I wonder what motor drives it?

Motor? How about motors. Probably a pair of turbocharged diesel V-8's with about 350 HP each. Cummings and Cat are popular marine engines here in North America. For Europe, I have no idea. Those engines are not cheap, could be $40K each, or more. Usually intercooled to keep the salt water out of the block.

Btw the v8 from an M3 in a boat would suck.... it would suck wayyyy too much fuel and it doesnt have a ideal torque curve for marine applications... matter of fact there is no torque. |
