Weight?

I'm confused.
I was just looking at the following:
http://www.bmw.com/com/en/newvehicle...ata/index.html

and

http://www.bmw.com/com/en/newvehicle...datasheet.html

This shows the following:
1M: 1,570 kg
2007 135i: 1,530 kg

Why the discrepancy?

I thought the 1M was lighter than previous 135's?

Your link is pointing to a 120i, not the 135i. However, the 135i is listed at 1530, less than the 1M. Hmmm.

I compared this data to what is listed on the 1M and 135 comparison in this forum, and it shows the same data:

1M = 1570kg
135 = 1530kg

I dont understand how this would show less weight in lbs???

Yeah the link doesn't change when you select different vehicles.

Because, in Europe the 135i is lighter than the 1M due to the optional sunroof. The weight is without sunroof and including I think 70Kg for the driver.
