Now what's happening with my angel eyes?
So I have the AiB angel eyes.... installed almost a year ago. Decided tonight would be a good night to get out of my car and just walk around front and admire them when I noticed the outside ring of one headlight was dim..... How is this even possible? It was not always like this, they used to be both fairly even. Now one headlight looks fairly even and the passenger side outer ring is barely lit....
Guess I'm gonna have to investigate this tomorrow..... Hoping it's not another aftermarket angel eye problem...... Fingers crossed.... If so, I'll be going back to stock eyes.....

Guess, I got lucky and it turned out to be a 5 minute fix....
Some how the LED bulb worked itself out of the housing and was just hanging halfway in there. That explains how the light could be unevenly distributed. But that leads to the next question.... Has anyone else had their LED fall out? How do you get these things secure so they don't work themselves out over time? I did the best I can to twist it and lock it into place, but these bulbs never seem to hit any kind of detent or lock or something to keep them in place, the simplest pressure in the opposite direction loosens them right up. Any suggestions?

The lightsources are keyed in H8 fashion, you should hit lock when twisted 90 degrees.

Can't get them to hit any type of lock.... The just turn till you can't turn them any further. Nothing keeps it from turning in the opposite direction to become loose again. At least not that I've noticed.....

Yea, they get to a point they can't turn anymore, but once they reach that point there is not tension or anything keeping them there. Almost zero pressure is required to turn them back the other direction. At least not that I've noticed.
