LED Tail lights

I have a 09 e92 M3 and I really like the new LED Tail lights on the 2011 model.
Has anyone out there upgraded to the LED Tail lights yet?

There is a slight flicker upon ignition startup (about 1 second), we are in coding development which will disable BulbCheck to eliminate this from happening.

I've replied to both of your PMs, full info is on the site. Per forum rules, we cannot openly advertise outside the sponsor's forum.

If you should need further assistance, please feel free to email or PM me directly.

There're no better parking lights than 'old' M3s IMO. And I also like the old ones much better overall. Only thing I'd like is LEDs, but not like most cars, where you can see all the damn round bulbs; looks awful IMO. Just LED bulbs would be perfect to old tails, and that can be arranged. I just don't warm up to the LED look of multiple round circles on the taillamps, but that's just me.

The good news is that for those who want their cars to look newer is an easy job thanks to EAS .

I am most likely going to sell my LED tails once my car gets in. I am planning on going with Euro Specs that have orange blinkers...... I hate red turn signals as much as I hate the orange reflectors on our bumpers!

Is it just me, or does anyone else like the older ones better than the new ones?

At least we're 2 .

Just curious: seems like the inner taillights don't have parking lights anymore; do they? Parking lights on 'old' E92 look incredible, and the inner tails help a lot. Inner new tails don't seem lighted on the first pic. And 2 more bad things about the new tails: parking lamps don't look like LEDs, but more importantly, HATE red turn signals. I don't need to pretend I drive a new M3, so absolutely no reason to switch for me. Good day.

I don't think anyone's "pretending" they have a 2011, that's a bit judgmental. It's simply a more modern style than the previous version. However, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

The inner trunk lamps are lit (style and output) with the same double row neon strips as the outers.

I like the red turn signals bulbs, not red lenses.

Somebody else is being 'judgmental' here; I was referring to ME. And the reality is there're TWO reasons for folks to switch to the new style: because they like them better, or because they want their cars to look newer (and a third would be a combination of the 2). Nothing wrong with either one, but I bet nobody will admit to #2 . Good day.

In general I like the look better than the old tail lights...however, when it's just the tail lamps running (no brake lights), it appears that the inner lights are on, but are much dimmer than the outside lamps. Whereas the 07-10 tail lamps are the same brightness both inside and outside.

Is that just me, or do you guys notice the same thing?

I'm referring to the pics in EAS' journal: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showpos...&postcount=284

I'll be the first to admit it, I liked the old style better.

But the new ones are growing on me.

Inner/outer running lamps are the same in terms of illumination on LCI models.
