Upgrading to 2011 LED Tail lights ?
I just signed for a great deal on the 2010 SG / RF M3 Coupe .. but I surely wanted and was considering wanting for the 2011s just for the LED tail lights but I couldn't pass up on the financing deal I got on the 2010s.
So my question is does anybody know how or the possibility for upgrading to the new 2011 coupe LED Tail lights? For example, has anyone successfully upgraded their sedan e93 2005-2008 to the 2009+ LEDs? Thanks Last edited by M3M3CAR; 04-10-2010 at 04:51 PM.. |

Either way, I'm opting for the European versions in order to retain our amber turn signals. Hopefully they can be coded the same as the US lights.

I'm with you... I like them as well, I can't understand why everyone wants LED's other than the fact that they are trendy everyone wants LED everything, kinda like carbon fiber.

I really like our LED parking lights, but only because they don't look like LEDs. I absolutely hate how most LED taillights look with all those damn circles. Can't see the attraction at all either, but guess people want to give the impression they're driving a brand new car, no? No way I'd replace mine even for free. I like them. I'd maybe only replace regular bulbs for LED bulbs, as long as they don't look like LEDs. And only because the side repeaters are LEDs, and it looks kind of weird front/rear bulbs blink at different rates.
