Who is going to put their summer tires on?
Well in Toronto at least the weather is going to get super warm this weekend and taper off in the week to follow but still have double-digit highs. Usually I put my summer tires on mid-April, or even at the end of the month just to be sure I don't get hit with that last snowstorm of the season. But with the hot weather coming this weekend I wonder if its time to do it early this year?

Probably putting mine on in May. Not because I'm afraid of more snow (I think we're more or less done with snow for the year in Pittsburgh,) but because the roads were torn up to hell and back this winter, and I'd rather ride over the potholes and cracks in the roads with my non-RFT 17" winter tires instead of the 18" hard-as-a-brick RFTs. Hopefully some of the bigger ones will be repaired by May....

Did it last weekend (March 20th) to my OEM 261M wheels, and just swapped rubbers to my CS7's this past weekend.
With the temps coming to the 20's this weekend, I'm glad I did it a week early. Garage's and shop's gonna be busy... |

I am tempted to put them back on... I might do it either this week before long weekend or next week... so within 2 weeks...

Actually just finished putting the summers on the 135 and the Rs on the Miata only moments ago. Mostly, I'm proud that I managed to do the entire swap without swearing once - new record for me!

Man it was so cold this morning I had to scrape the frost off all my windows. Makes me think twice about putting my summers on tomorrow...oh but its only cold in the morning I guess.
