Anybody else sick of TopGear?

Maybe its just me but I'm tired of it. Other then actually seeing and hearing some cool cars run around a track, I just can't seem to tolerate it anymore. Clarkson's a bloat sack. If its not British its garbage,Blah , blah ,blah. The whole Stig thing is just played out. Does anybody care who the Stig is? . Do they honestly think its one guy? Saw someone the other day wearing an "i'm the Stig" shirt . I just shook my head. Maybe its because people that aren't really into cars are so into the show.I don't know. Just had to get that off my chest.

Uh - you do now they revealed who the Stig was in season 13 right?

Anyway I think they haven't changed the general outline of the program in yrs so it's getting pretty dull to watch. I'm still watching it, but not with as great enthusiasm as earlier ...

Same, im just excited to watch the car reviews and any scenes with nice cars in it....otherwise i cant stand the show. This is why i loved the first ep of season 14....every scene was fun to watch

I totally agree. I don't enjoy it as much as I used to. Putting aside that it is biased as fak, at times its straight up lame.

It's becoming less and less funny each season for me. But I'll still watch it because there is always at least two good episodes per season.

Btw they revealed 1 of the stigs and he was only there because Ferrarri wouldn't let anyone else drive the car or something so it was a one time thing. There are many stigs and with theories to how many and who.

I prefer fifth gear because both presenter are real racing drivers, his opinions have more relevancy to me.

Anyway, TopGear is better than nothing, i like to see it because the cars, no really pay attention of what the said about them.

I think you are talking about season 13 when they bring the Ferrari FXX on track and it was Micheal Shumacher who drove and wear the Stig suit just for that show ... (and the FXX was Michael toys)

Yes , I know they "revealed" stig , but come on. Tell me that schumacher or any other driver that was racing at the time was there for all the episodes.These guys hardly have a moment to themselves between travel , racing testing and sponsorship duties. Thats the great thing about always having a helmet on. you could be anybody. In fact , you got me . I am the Stig. +1 to 5th gear though

I've been watching TG for about 5 years, and I'm kind of tired of it. For one thing, I'm really tired of hearing Clarkson's same old bad mouthing of American cars. Especially when he gets so many things factually wrong.

I'm also tired of seeing Clarkson praise a car on the show only to bash it in his column. It makes me feel like I'm wasting my time by watching their reviews, since they don't seem to be honest.

Top Gear seemed to peak out around late 2004 through 2005. Now the show is mostly "Jackass with cars"

Fifth Gear also used to be very good, too. Back before they decided to start emulating Top Gear.

You say he bad mouths American Cars but his fave car is a Ford GT40 which he owns. And lets be fair, until recent years American cars have been bags of shyte! But companies are learning from their mistakes... especially with the new Corvettes... love them.. a friend of mine owns one which blows my mind and various other body parts!!
So guys... don't hate.. adapt and learn!

I think I have to disagree with the OP....I think its getting more and more entertaining...I mean we all sort of have an idea of whos going to win a comparison test, but the sheer entertainment and lunancy involved in revealing the results is what makes it the best damn car show!

FYI: fifth gear is decent too, I like Tiff and how he presents every car and gets so excited everytime he drives one, thes rest of the cast is boring, and I hate Viki seems like someone shoved something up her ass when shes laughing....

i'll do Viki ten ways from sunday (something about british accent on girls makes want to bang them like a storm door) but i still hate fifth gear... specially the new guys. I watch Top Gear for entertainment purpose, i don't take anything they say as "fact".

First Episode of Season 14 was probably the best episode of TG ever, and I have seen every 13 previous seasons.

However, the rest of the season is RUBBISH. The challenges are rubbish, VERY predictable (like the TG Electric Car on the highway doing 40, I saw that one coming miles before it happened) and its just ..... ".....".

I don't know, there is something wrong this season, its not as special to watch as it was before. I think they are going to main stream instead of focusing on cars. Aside from the first episode, it feels like there is no passion anymore, even though the last episode of season 13 almost made me cry when he was driving the V12 Vantage.

Clarkson is still funny, but sometimes I think he tries to hard to be controversial.

Those are my 2 cents.

He had a point though which is why things are changing everywhere in the automotive industry, and M's are no longer going to be NA
