If anyone knows the people that were in the Scion Tc (purple rims and coffee can exhaust) on Skyline Drive, get them to post their pictures here! They look like they would have been really good.

Enjoyed the run...and the comradeship today. Will post pics when I get home and download stuff from iphone and camera.

Oh BTW Darkstarzero...made it back to MD at 1715 NOT 1/2 hr early (1630) as you suggested. traffic on I-66 back to the Beltway was horrific! Now I remember why I avoid VA other than for M3 meets! LOL ~

Sorry man, the 1630 guess was if you went to DC from Rt 7 instead of going down Snickersville to 50. 15 minutes late isn't bad though, just use the side door that way Lumberg can't see you.

No...don't think so I know he took off at the Shell gas station just after a white M3 departed. Not sure if he went after him.

However, there was a cop (could have been the same one) on the way up to Skyline drive on the zig-zag/switch-back roads that "set the pace" for the rest of us prior to entering skyline drive.

2 White M3s and I was in a grey one left and he left after us. The last time I did a run out to Skyline, we got lectured by the state troopers and the park rangers pulled a bunch of people over and searched their cars, hence why I took off.

So the trooper drove it nice and slow with everyone following?

We passed the trooper at exactly the speed limit. I think he may have followed the last car for a few miles and then turned around. Never saw another cop for the rest of the day, so I'd call that a success

Great drive today! Thank you to all who came out! We should start a Facebook group page. It will be a good place for pics and for staying up to date.

Few Pics

Good day. Thanks to Justin, my camera man for getting the photos today since I couldn't walk around too much with the sprained knee.
It was good seeing everyone again.

That was Justin taking the exhaust pics, and they're all uploaded to the server. Including the blue camry's that parked next to us...

Let me know if you guys go to Clifton. I know that area quite well. Lots of nice roads and we can get some god brunch at the Clifton store. They make one mean breakfats taco. We should let Joe (novablackm3) in to. He lives right aroudn that area.
We just gotta make sure you don't run into any rocks this time, A?

Teaser

Teaser before the Pros come out with the real stuff.

[u2b]<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/EaVge6AJynE&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/EaVge6AJynE&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>[/u2b]

It was a lot of fun... especially the drive to the Shell station. Sucks i do not have footage of that part, my camera mount arm decided to bend at 145+mph and face the sky.

I have uploaded what i had to the server.
