LUX H8 ANgel Eye Pics and comments
After reading pages and pages of comparisons and reviews on all the angel eye mods out there, I went with the LUX H8 conversion. Purchased from North American Motorsports, the shipping was insanely fast and the package arrived well packed and in good shape.
A quick read thru the DIY section gave me a good idea as how to install them. Install took all of 15 minutes, maybe less. The passenger side factory bulb was a b*tch to get loose for some reason. After the stock bulbs were out, it was just plug and play. Installation was a breeze. Now for some comments. The build quality is exceptional, they look like well machined aircraft parts. These things are soooooooooo bright it is insane. The color perfectly matches the stock headlights. The illumitaionis very very even and cans I say again, BRIGHT! I think if you had to, you could get away with using them as headlights on a super dark night, they are that bright. ANyways, I am a very happy customer and just wanted to pass the word along. Anyone who buys these will not be dissapointed. here is a pic I took last night that gives a good representation of how they look on a fairly dark nigh to the neked eye. |

I installed them a couple weeks ago as well. No complaints - IMO Way better than stock at a cost 25% less than AIB's. Not to mention all the problems with AIB's - Knock wood.

Thanks for all the great words about these lights everyone!!!!!!!!!
The e90 M3 would be the same install as the E92's actually, there is the top cover that allows access to the bulbs. |

Does that mean you need to splice/cut wires to add the resistor?

..yeah if your hands are toddler size. I had to use a small pipe wrench and suspension spanner to hold and turn in the tight space ...but, I did get'em in and love the results.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
