Octoberfest Canberra 20 September

Any takers?

The BMW Car Club ACT will be there with a show and shine or just display. The usual suspects will be there, supported by local dealerships and their respective displays, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche maybe, Mercedes and of course BMW.

We will have both our cars on display for S and S, Been a busy week trying to prep 2 cars , why not take a drive to Canberra for the day, see the sights and some nice cars.

I went last year and it was good but they all sit there, southern highland cruise is a bit more tempting cus we are experiencing our cars.
Ill go next year.

Well another Autofest done and dusted.

Lots of German machinery, VW and Merc were very well represented. BMW... well there were a lot of pre 2000 models so that meant the show and shine was a family affair, one 135i versus one M3 (there we no other cars there in the category <50,000Km).

It would be great to see some of you 1ers there, maybe next year. I'll make sure to post some thing here a little earlier in the year.

Here a a few shots from today.

Took the family for a road trip yesterday to Canberra.

Saw both your cars down there, both looked fantastic, love the roof on your M. Couple of nice P'Cars and some old MB's as well.

Looked like a nice collection of Vdub's too, my daughters favorite was eyore.

Cheers WOPALX

Should have said g'day, we were hanging round the cars most of the AM, until they finished judging anyways.

Yeh some of the dubs are amazing, especially the combis.

I would love to see a fleet of E series car rock up next year. My only option is to go to the nationals, it is a bit of a hollow victory when there is only your missus to beat in a show and shine.

Did not see anyone obviously there, also I had 3 kids in tow that were somewhat restless after a 3hr drive from Sydney, next time I'll leave them at home & maybe even enter.
