Noise when turning, what is it?
Just notice a noise today when turn right, going up a multi-storey carpark. It is a screeching noise, like metal rubbing on metal, not too loud, sounds similar to brake wear indicator rubbing on brake disc, but only when turining right, not in a straight line. Wonder what it could be due to? Will have to book in to get it looked at.

Sure you are not just turning way too quick? Were there any tyre marks behind you?

I've noticed mine do that also and its only been when going up a multistory carpark too which I do every day. Only noticed it twice though. To me it sounds like the thin metal covers they put on the inside of therotors. Or the exhaust scraping but I highly doubt that

That tick. Does it sound like a rock stuck in the tread of your tyre? Mine does that and there's no damn rock in the tyres.

The 'screeching' sound you describe is usually the power steering; I had it constantly with the speed-sensitive in the WRX.
To do with the rubbing, i'm not sure Obviously it's hard without hearing it, but that screeching sound you described sounds like the power steering. |

no such thing. it all works off the ABS sensors and compares the rotational speed of the wheels, which is why the system won't detect if both tyres on an axle had a slow leak and went down at the same rate.....

It is not a stone in the tyres. May be it is the power stering? But it doesn't do it when turning the wheel when the car is stationary. |
