Floor Mats
Ok, so the only tiny thing I didn't like about the dealer was the lack of floor mats. I currently have some el-cheapos from Super Cheap ($14 for the full set) in Christine, but the Driver's side doesn't fit well.
Does anyone know: 1. Where i can source some BMW Floor mats to fit the 125i Coupe OR 2. Any particular type/make of floor mat that fits properly (especially driver's side?) Many thanks |

You put SupaCheap things in you BMW? Did Christine spit them out?
I was talking to my dealer today and he mentioned that mats are standard when the car gets delivered. I wonder why yours weren't in there.

Car mats are not standard I think. Depends on the policy of the dealer or negotiations skills at time of buying to throw them in as free.
On corporate plan they are free. In terms of sourcing something similiar, sorry I cant help you there. |

Aha! That's why mine were included with the car.

Get some oversized floor mats from SupaCheap then cut them to size with big scissors. Will have the desired effect of fitting well and looking cheap.

Seriously..considering what you've spent or going to spend on the car, a set of genuine floormats shouldn't be an issue. |

I'd suggest asking your dealer ... gives you an excuse to go on a nice drive back up to Newcastle via the Hunter Valley ...
I bought mine on corporate, so got them included. I was even given a choice between rubber or carpet (I took the carpet). |

I didn't go on the corp plan, or bargain for them. According to the perth dealer they are standard.

hmm.. i thought it would be fitted on all vehicles by the dealer prior to the delivery. mine has a velcro thing on the bottom side of the mats.

Rumor has it that all BMW cars get shipped with floor mats from the factory. They are in sealed plastic bags and kept in the boot.
The dealers then keep it for themselves and then hand them out as needed to sweeten the deal. Just rumor, heard from a friend of a friend type rumor. |

I also got floor mats thrown in no question asked. I also guess what bobby said was true.

I think it depends on the policy of the dealership. Some dealers use it as a negotiating tool.
To me, not including floormats in a prestige vehicle is just silly.

Thanks for the reply guys. Will give the dealer a call tomorrow morning...
Unfortunately i'm not in a 'power position' anymore - having already received the car... The lease company did all of the negotiating for me, but I got a first aid kit and apparently they're optioned? It makes no sense if the first aid kit was thrown in, and no floor mats. It makes no sense if the first aid kit is standard, and no floor mats as standard. |

She's close to it. It's obviously a temporary solution (hence starting this thread ) while i locate an OEM set.
