Check this out - weight lifting related
http://www.teenbodybuilding.com/teen...ayton_ruiz.htm
With all this recent talk on weight lifting, supplements, etc it's time to throw down the bullshit flag. Anyone actually believe him when he says he never took anything other than protein? He looks kinda bloated to me. |

Its an easy give away when someone is on steroids, the way the shoulder is extremely rounded and looks as if the trap is disconnected from the anterior deltoid, also the guy was an absolute bag of bones and he put on 50lbs of solid muscle?? I have no problems or frown down apon someone choosing to take steroids but cmon bud if your gonna take the juice at least be man enough to admit it

Dang, that's a huge difference. I'm his same height and 172 and nowhere NEAR that thick. He's got to be 195+ lbs, and I'm skeptical if the time frame was anything less than 2-3 years.

I wouldn't be so fast as to throw the BS flag. I gained ~55 pounds after I got out of highschool. That is a time span of 3 years and is definitely doable. If you are calling bs on that you would probably call bs on me too and I never took anything but protein either.
I went from 145 lbs to 200-205 lbs within 2 years.

What was the timeline on that guy? I was under the impression that it was a lot quicker than that. |

I agree with the fact that his proportions look way off and that it is not natural.....but he started when he was 16. That means he was probably still going through puberty, and in addition to the natural growth of muscle he was supplementing it through working out and such. Not entirely absurd...

I don't know. I graduated high school at about 135lbs and 4 years later graduated college at 195lbs. I never took steroids but I did take more than just protein powder. I was not in as good of proportion as that guy but it was 15 years ago and legal supplements are better know. BTW, I know am at 170lbs.

You said it there buddy, proportion. Look at the kid, there's no way he looks like that without a ton of pro hormones, igf, hgh or steroids. I've been working out my entire life and have seen people of all ages go through transformations at the various gyms I have attended and I have a good eye for BS like this. I've known people to juice and not even realize half the size of this kid. It's a shame because it gives the average person unrealistic expectations to the results they can naturally obtain. The world is full of BS and someones gotta sort it out.

My favorite is seeing guys at the gym like that who put up 220 and think their boss.
