Ordered 135i Today

First off all, thank you to everyone in this group! I learned a great deal about negotiating this car. I am also happy to see that the BMW spirit is still alive and well, asI was a former BAVARIA owner.

Negotiated a very acceptable offer on a 135i with SGM/Terra/Burl/ZPP/ZSP. Like the rest, it is now time to wait.

I was moved into the Production queue today! According to my CA I am 6-8 weeks away. I hope just in time to drive up to Vancouver BC for holiday at the end of July! I haven't been this excited over a new toy in years!

The Car is in Next Week

I realize this thread is old. However, I feel compelled to complete the story. The car should be available for pick up a week from today, Thursday the 23rd.

Between then and now I have obsessed over wheels, I did pre-order the new Apex wheels, though I was convnced I was going to get the Breytons, which still may be my winter wheels. Thank you, Berk for promoting these wheels!

I also have worried about putting a license plate on the front without screws. I don't need needless police harassment since I am a firm believer in "exercising" my cars to and from work. (I don't want it getting fat!) I think I have a solution for this. If it works, I will be more than happy to share. No, it does not use the hook slot or tape, tacky in my opinion.

Best regards,

Rick

I'm excited to see your car Rick! It's one of a handful of 135i's we have inbound right now. I'm expecting mine in about a month.

We got a really nice Space Gray one in today; it's sold as well.

Ty,

It was nice meeting you as well. I have been so excited. Got many nice compliments at work when I brought in on Friday. I spent virtually all day today washing/claying/dual coats of wax. It just shines!

Rasmussen BMW is the best!

Good point. I was so busy with the outside I really didn't pay that close attention to the seat. The passenger's side is not at all dented. I'll inquire.

Thanks,

Rick

Thank you. I thought the left rear quarter picture was the best at first. But the more I look at the initial front shot, it sort of reminds me of a smiling bulldog.

I plan on taking it to some other locations to get a better backdrop. If I get ant better ones I'll post.
