Houston 1200 mile service: E90 6MT
I had a discussion with my "service advisor" and they did the oil change and changed my differential fluid. He said that the tranny fluid was good for 100,000 miles and that they wouldn't do the air filter or ventiliation microfilter until the next service.
It seems like some dealerships are doing the tranny fluid and filters while other's aren't. I'm looking for a way the service department doesn't have to follow BMW USA guidelines for this service. Shared experiences?

The service manual won't help. The dealers have updated SB's from BMW that state the manual trans fluid, air filter, and microfilter are no longer part of the 1200 mi service. If the dealer changes these things, BMW will not pay them for it and they are SOL.

Just got the 1200 mile server. No Transmission fluid change but they did change the microfilter. They showed me the 1200 service checklist and it did have microfilter on there.
