Decisions Decisions...
Ok guys, I'm really interested in the CSL 19" Rims. I've seen them on a few 1 series I'm stuck on which color i want, as well as the rim finish.. I'm ordering my 135 this january.. I photoshopped 2 pictures of an AW and metallic black 135i with powder coated 19 CSL's. Now, im not sure if it would look better with the powder coated, or the hyperblack, or having silver (maybe even gunmetal idk) . Here are the pictures I made
Or Can't decide Let me know your guy's opinions. Thanks, Grant |

Wow, well that decision is very hard, I would ultimately say the matte black wheels on white is the best color combo.
But black on black looks so good as well... It's a tough decision, and if you need any assistance, I'm sure the forum as well as I can help you out |

neither actually. Black rims on a white or black car is still trendy to me. Now the pic of the red car with black wheels, that's a fresh look. Look out for that pic somewhere on here.

Maybe black and white kinda works, but, I'll admit it, I don't get the whole black wheel thing at all. Just look at the pics - you can barely see what the wheels are. They could almost be steel rims spray painted with glossy black rustoleum. They show no detail or pop, except in contrast with the white body. Black on black makes matters worse. The wheels, tires and car start to blend together. Hyperblack or gunmetal would be much much better.

If you have a white car black wheels could work depending on how you mod it. If you have a black car I would definitely go with silver for the great contrast.

Black on black for me.
White cars are currently the 'in thing' & a few years down the line may be harder to sell depending on what's in fashion at the time. Black never really goes out of fashion & black on black just looks plain mean! . |
