Add Premium Subs to Stock Audio System
I am sure that this has been addressed before, but from my searches, everything seems to be unclear. I want to add subs from the premium package into the stock system.
I'm not an audiphobe so is this something i can do myself? Would it involve splicing into other wires? Will i need to purchase an amp? OR is there a preexisting amp with the stock system? If anyone could address those questions, I'd really appreciate it. |

you will run into issues as the premium subs are 4 ohms and the standard system is 2 ohms. With the factory amp still in place you will half your power to them. If you want to go this route -you should buy an new amp.

DC5TC, I sent you a PM.
bye bye GTI is correct. I didn't realize that the premium subs were 4 ohms. Instead of recommending that you get a new amp I agree with bye by GTI that you need to get a new amp.
