Speakers cutting out
I have the standard audio set-up with the Ipod/usb connection. Anytime i play my ipod the right side speakers cut in and out. I checked the connection and I don't think that is it. When i turn the steering wheel is usually when it comes in and out. Any one have this problem or know of a solution for me?

Loose speaker connection
i had a problem with the left front speaker cutting in and out. I took the door panel off and unplugged the speaker, then plugged it back in. seems to be working fine now.

That certainly sounds odd, you may need to get the dealer to sort that out. However, as a check first, if the problem is anywhere between the Head Unit and the speakers, the same fault should occur when listening to FM Radio, try that and see if it still happens.
There are two other things you could try. With the USB Y-Cable, the audio is played through the Aux port, if you have MP3s on the iPod, you can just use the standard iPod USB Cable, (AAC's won't work), this will eliminate the Aux port as being the problem. And finally if you get a standard 1/8" to 1/8" cable you can connect the head phone out socket of the iPod to the Aux port, you will need to control the iPod yourself, but that would tell you if it's the Y-Cable at fault.

I had the same problem. It was a bad connection with the Y cable's mini jack. When you tilt the armrest, it might pull the mini jack out by about 1/8". That is enough to cutoff the left or right audio channel.

I too am having this problem with right speakers cutting out. Only happens with iPod or iPhone (not radio). Very intermittent, trying to determine if it's the cable or the connectors.

I didn't really have a big problem, just some intermittent cut outs. The dealership replaced my Y-cable and now the left side doesn't have sound when the iPhone/iPod is plugged in. Going to visit the dealer again in 2 days.

Okay - I try wiggling the cable (both USB & Mini) and can't reproduce, only happens after driving awhile. I'll go with cable first. I did notice that the connectors don't feel that secure.
