So I'm updating my sound system...

and I need you guys to give me feedback if you have had the privelege of experiencing certain brand sound systems.

The combo i am considering is:

BSW (Bavarian soundwerks) level one package

+ 2 MBquart 10'' subs (may very well go lower then 10, two 8s? maybe just one 10?)

i was going to go with those guys, but i ended up springing for premium sound.

Would love to see how things go with adding a 10" to your two subs under the seat

I'm thinking about upgrading to the BSW level one package too...when they finally get around to releasing it. Sales rep for BSW said standard package should be available later this month with subs following later...we'll see.

Have you had BSW in your previous cars?

I was under the same impression about lack of subs in standard stereo. Even read about a the tweeter cage being empty in the A-pillar. I also have std, but there's no doubt there are two tweeters and two subs under my seats.

I'm also looking to upgrade the stereo, let me know how you make out. I'm guessing the main diff between std and premium is upgraded of all 10 speakers, sound processor and amp?

anyone know the specifics on this?

thnx

I believe the bottom two options apply to the U.S. factory systems.http://www.babybmw.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=6354
