Navigation- Where am I?
I have just begun to notice that my vehicle's position on the navigation screen seems to read about 100 feet behind the actual position. When the navi lady says turn in 200 feet, actually I need to turn in about 100 feet. Also I'm about 100 feet past my destination when she says "You have arrived."
Other than being just amusing, it does mean I need to be watchful to be sure to turn in time. Suggestions? Is there a way to reset the actual location of the vehicle? Anyone else experience this? |

I've experienced the same thing, comparing it to my old Garmin StreetPilot it seems to be a little "behind." It IS consistent though. To compensate, I got in the habit of watching the forward part of the circle instead of the center. This has kept me from overrunning turns, etc. I'm more used to it now. I don't use voice commands so I don't know about that. I'll have to play with it some.

Is there an option to reset the GPS sensors or gyros and have it re-learn. I think you typically do that and take it on the highway for the GPS to re-learn from the satellites and it will be more accurate.
I've done this on Alpine navigation systems with success.
