Key Fob Markers

So I had my owners manual out last night looking for some info on the voice commands, and this little card fell out. I picked it up and found a bunch of stickers on it. After a little investigation I realized the stickers are for marking the key fobs. There's a figure of a man and woman, and then a bunch of shapes.

Interestingly enough, the man was missing from mine. I'm guessing someone in the service department needed one for their car....

Sort of minor little detail, but I put a couple of the shapes on my fobs and can now tell them apart.

I'm guessing I probably wasn't the only one who didn't know about these things, so I figured I'd mention it.

My CA actually put them on for me when I picked up the car.

As I'm the driver of this car 99.44% of the time, the other key will just languish in our key repository. I'll probably need to remember to use it once in a while to keep its battery charged.

I have a 1 and a 2 that were painted (looks like from the factory) on the back of my keys. The wife's #2, and I'm #1 (not in real life, of course :wink: )

I found mine between the seats, and put it away to try to figure out what it was! Good investigation! I was missing the '3', so the little man is now on mine. Thanks for the information.

Is the key fob battery chargeable?

I thought for sure it recharges everytime you put it in to start the car.

Standard fob recharges when it's in the dash.
CA fob uses a non-rechargeable watch battery.
