TRW Lower Wishbones back ordered, what are the other best options?
Hi guys,
I was going to replace my worn original front tension arms and lower wishbones with TRW arms since TRW is the manufacturer of the BMW Original arms. However, when I was ordering those parts, I was informed the TRW lower wishbones are currently on back order and has a longer-than-expected lead time. I’m pretty sure it’s the front lower wishbone that is on back order. Part#: 31102283577 I do not want to spend $199+ on the BMW Original ones yet. So i searched part number and found few other options here and there: DELPHI from Rockauto or ECS: https://www.rockauto.com/en/partsear...&a=avl13644097 DORMAN from Amazon or Ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/11600564157...3ABFBM6JfFrZ1j APF from various Ebay sellers: https://www.ebay.com/itm/11600564157...3ABFBM6JfFrZ1j There are definitely few more brands but I assume they are pretty much the same with Rockauto/Delphi ones. Does anybody have experience with OEM replacement parts other than TRW? Should I just go with Delphi/Rockauto and wait till the TRWs are back on stock? Thanks |

I'm in the same boat. I wanna refresh the suspension but don't want to pay the OEM BMW price, just sitting and waiting for the TRW stuff to come back in stock.

Sign up for notifications, and order it as soon as you get the email it's in stock. It was a TRW Germany arm with BMW logo grinded off. I now have both sides TRW and a spare Delphi Left side arm.

I bought a pair last August and have yet to install them. Prices of both arms have increased a little bit but still shows "In Stock" |
