they need to step it up even more...GTR is getting faster times than that.

GTR isn't a diesel though getting 28mpg though. That thing is awesome!!

but GTR engine is smaller also..so I don't think Mpg is also an issue. Unless I'm wrong..and it drinks alot

Are you basing your comment purely on the 0-60 time? That isn't the whole picture.

1000NM of torque and a lightweight car will give insane in-gear accelleration. This engine in the R10 has won Le Mans 24 Hour twice using half the gearchanges of the petrol cars.

This past Saturday I saw a brand new black supercar being driven around Bethesda, MD and didn't realize it was the Audi R8 until I saw the Audi rings on the rear. Certainly impressive.
