Back in 2005 with my wife to be, we celebrated by doing the norm, out to eat, gifts and yada yada yada. However, since then, we’ve decided to not celebrate it as we celebrate VD basically everyday by showing our marriage is still strong. Sounds corny, I know.

Lots of restaurants here are closed Monday, Super Bowl tonight, so we went out on Friday for Indian. Had a great meal and nice time together.

A Hwy 101 road trip, to be with second daughter to help at home with the expected arrival of her first child (Valentines Day baby?). So sight seeing, I guess.

We are driving back to NC. We don’t really do anything on V day. Luckily we both agree it’s a stupid idea to try to do something when everyone else is also trying to do something. We had a nice dinner the past 2 nights so.

Will probably have a romantic Bojangles or Bucees dinner in the car tomorrow.

Just another day of the year. Been married for 35 years, so we stopped celebrating Valentines day a long time ago. That`s for newlyweds

If you want to buy your significant other flowers, than just do it any day of the year. If we want to celebrate a day we just do it, don`t have to wait for valentines day.

Met a cool gal on Friday at a friend's party, so grabbing dinner with her on Monday. I usually wouldn't be so keen on having a first "date" for the 14th, but she asked for my number first. As I was leaving she said "we should hang out soon!", so I asked if she has plans for Monday... Going to a nice Italian spot, genuinely excited, haven't hit it off this well with someone in a while.

Well, a package from Adore Me arrived last week, so I'm hopeful... Since I'm the one working from home and we already went out Saturday evening, I'll be certain to have a nice, early, dinner planned. 😉

However, it's the first year my daughter goes to kindergarten and she insisted on making a VD card for one of her classmates, so cute!

It's 27 years for us, 2/14 is just another hallmark holiday. However, for 20 years, I've made sure my daughters had a valentine. This year, they're both in college and neither will get flowers and candy then have dinner with dad.

Instead some boy will likely bring them a $3 bouquet from the campus store and try to jump them.... boys are disgusting
