Amazon box or not ?

My last order for a PSU for the BM, from Powermax, they asked would I want it put in an Amazon box, for anonymity ? I chose not.

I also thought putting it in an Amazon box may not deter porch pirates anyway.

Not that I have any issues,

put it like this in my neighbourhood, I keep garage door open, with all my goodies, forgotton to lock it over night and OH left keys in the ignition of her car, on Sunday night, come Wednesday she only started looking for the keys <banghead>

Not trying to tempt fate.... but, there you go

So you mean a plain box with the power supply or an Amazon pickup location?

ok LOL sorry let nme try again

I've ordered a PSU (powermax) from Amazon.
They have 2 options for shipping,, either the box right from manufacturer
OR they can put it in a box which says AMAZON on it.

The idea if I'm saying buying an apple iphone, you dont want to have anyone seeing the wording Apple on it. for Porch Pirates.

The question I'm asking, is an "amazon" box better or no worse as a shipping method than say the box withy the original product or manufacture wording

The item is a power Supply unit for my BMW

Ask them to ship in a nondescript brown paper packaging like the sex shops use - should make it safe from mobile porch pirates. And, depending on who your neighbours are, you should be safe from them grabbing it too. And if not, well, you probably just learned something about your neighbours.

Am I the only person who fills old Amazon boxes with dog poop, and leaves them out on the front walkway as gifts for porch pirates?????

This Glitter Bomb started as a simple trick on porch pirates, and it now has turned into more of a revenge trick.

Yeah, I don't think it matters much anymore.

1.5 years ago I had ordered a new phone. The Pixel box, was inside a plain carboard box.....but from where it was shipping and the size of the box a FedEx employee or handler must have known what it was.

I receive the package, open the cardboard box, the Pixel box is there. Open the Pixel box, phone is gone. So they opened the shipping box, opened the phone box, stole the phone, phone box goes back in the shipping box and continued to me empty.

Thankfully my old phone was still working, took Google/FedEx about 6 days to get a new phone to me.
