- dude with 5 rep points posts a novel of a story about a guy on A DIFFERENT FORUM, had scammed a bunch of people by selling parts and never delivering. So the op, being the Good Samaritan that he is, set up a fake sting operation by purchasing an item and then confronting the thief. The thief confessed to his crimes and said times were tough, wife is pregnant and need money for the baby.

It was at this moment, the op was graced by all the might of past Disney princesses combined and decided to become the savior of said thief. Started his mission of posting about this thief on forums and even started a gofundme for the thief and his family! https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-with...ource=customer

Now, when others pointed out the lunacy of his story, it was met with disdain, passive aggressive comments and guilt trips. Defensive almost. Kind of like the op woke up this morning and thought this was a genius way to make money. Someone actually took the time to use their cerebral prefrontal lobe to come up with this fucking story that a five year old wouldn't believe. Oh!! I forgot the funniest part. The thief's identity will be kept a secret to protect him from all the people who were scammed. If we can't understand that, then we're all compassionateless heathens. Shame on him for being a nice guy. EL OH EL.

Following on the above, if you were to click through to the page you would make a donation, you'll see that the benefit goes to the OP per gofundme page. So nothing preventing him from making off like a bandit. Because, you know, the real person he's fundraising for wants to stay "anonymous".
