Please help me with a Happy Birthday photo!

Hello everyone...

So I need some help. My wife's birthday is next week. Every year I struggle (as I'm sure many guys do) with just what to do/get. This year especially with the pandemic, everything being closed, and the fact that she doesn't give a damn about flowers or chocolates, I am having an especially hard time.

I'm an engineer working aboard a large ship. I've been at sea for 2 months, still 2 months to go before I can get home. So, I can't be there for her birthday, yet again... This is nothing new to us, but I want to do something different and special this year. I thought it would be cool to get photos from all over the world of scenic places with a handwritten note in the photo... She's pretty much the most amazing woman, at home alone for half the year, takes care of our two kids, two dogs, house, and 3 BMWs.. She lets me buy pretty much any car part I want without ever complaining... And, while I may be a bit biased, she's pretty hot too...

So, yeah, she deserves all of this and then some.

Why Bimmerpost? Well, my wife is all over Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and all the other social media sites... I know I'm safe posting this on here...

So, can you help me? Can you email me a scenic/landscape photo with a handwritten note being held up? Using the following happy birthday message??

"Happy Birthday Ayren! Jon sends his love, even from ________"
(insert your location in the blank)

Include your ///M car or BMW for comedy factor as she always gives me the

Special request - can we get all the female members to do this, but post the pictures with your face or body included in them with the caption just as Jon wanted it "Jon sends his love, even from ____" just so we can make sure Jon has the most interesting conversation he's ever had to have on his wife's birthday? If you're interested in a pic from the French Quarter in New Orleans I can make a little sign, take a pic, & e-mail it to you. Cool idea since you can't be there. It's the thought that counts.

If I head into downtown Charleston this weekend I'll try to rig something up for you! Great idea. My Dad is an offshore tug captain and my older brother is a 1st mate offshore, so understand that it's tough being away from home. Although my dad is 4 weeks on 4 off and brother is 6 on 6 off, so you have it a little more rough. Like everyone has mentioned, great idea and it is the thought that counts.

Hah, thank you so much for the thought! Ironically, my wife went to College of Charleston, so I know she LOVES it there.. Beautiful area for sure, we visited again a couple years ago.

That being said, I haven't received one photo, so I've essentially abandoned this idea. Don't worry about this for me. I appreciate your post though!

I'm shucking it up to a sweet message and cheesy Facebook post so all her girlfriends can see how she's got such a good husband... (all those women feed on that sort of nonsense!)
