First Dyno: New M135i F40
The New F40 M135i has brought with it a lot of controversy, and for an obvious reason. The outgoing M140i gained a cult following as a RWD 6 Cylinder Hot Hatch, and this new M135i is a 4WD 4 Cylinder.
A customer brought us their brand new M135i to see what power it was making out of the box, so lets see how much power BMW has squeezed out of the 2 Litre 4 Cylinder B48 engine. |

Seems par for the course. Most dyno reports I have seen on BMWs show HP at the wheels close to what is claimed at the crank. Most car companies lose about 15% between the crank and the wheels so BMW is actually generating a significantly greater amount of HP than claimed.
