Convertible drains

Does anyone have a good idea of where the top drains are on the E88?

I was in a bad afternoon downpour today, and the top corners of the windshield started dripping into the cabin.

I know there are small holes in the rubber trim at the top of the windshield. Im sure they are drains, and Im sure there's pollen and gunk in there. Will clean out with weedwacker line.

But what other drains are there? I found a Z4 thread about drains in the area in the trunk where the hydraulic assembly is. No pics and no idea how that translates to the e88.

Any ideas or recommendations on other vehicle drains to look into and keep clean?

The underhood ones are obvious. They make those nice little removable grates. But what other drains may exist I dont know...

Thanks!

subscribed... would like to know myself. Not had a leak issue, but would be good info to have if leaks occur.

I found why it was leaking up top. Terrible pollen clogging.

Look for these drains:

Closer up:

Use weedwacker line, around 3 feet of it.

Water flows this way:

There's another tube that comes out a little higher than this one. Haven't traced it yet, don't know where it goes, there's not many options.

My understanding is that there's a drain or drains in the back by the hydraulic unit, but Ive not been able to get info or pursue that.

Nice, thank you. I'll stab some weed whacker line into the drain to clear any possible future issues.
