i have a catted x pipe will i pass nj inspection

im new to nj and there state run inspection stations .i have and e92 with and afe catted x pipe will they fail me at the inspection station or will i be fine ? cat back is stock anyone with this knows the cars not really all that loud untill you really get on it so im not worried about noise .mainly trying to find out if i need to to spend more money at a private shop or if i could run thru the states inspection .

Catted x pipes tend to eliminate odors mostly. Its a crap shoot of actually passing inspection, especially NJ state inspection.

Is the car tuned?

car is tuned just has the pipe a pully and intake atm .i could care ess about failing just dont wana fail and they impound my car or something if theres a chance of that ill just pay to get it done .just not sure if theres ever been and issue with this kinda thing or not

Why not get it done at gas station
That way u won't have to worry about it

Does anyone know of any shops in NJ that would pass an inspection with an hfc? Is that even a thing?

I doubt you get a public answer regarding shops because it is illegal.

Off Route. 1 near Princeton. From my understanding the obd test is the only thing that matters these days.
