M3 Side Skirt Splitter : Custom made!

Hey guys, so my buddy is currently making a set of side skirt splitters for me and I fig i'll post it up for everyone to follow the progress of it.

He made a bunch of them already for all types of BMW but never had a change to make one for an e92 M3. So I volunteered my car to be used and thought it'll be cool to document it for everyone to check out.

So this weekend, he came over to do the initial measurements. Pics below.

It'll be made out of 1/2inch plastic and wrapped in carbon fiber to match the Lip and rear diffuser. It's def going to be a lot cheaper and just as nice as any of the lip you can buy on ebay.

Are these wrapped in carbon fiber vinyl or a actual CF overlay?

It's wrapped in Carbon fiber. He can wrap it in any color you want. It's super strong since he uses 1/2" plastic sheets. It's a lot thicker than the other side skirts on the market. Width is 5", but that's because my wheel sticks out a bit more than stock, so i wanted him to line it up with the line on the wheels.

HUH? still didn't answer my questions but your answer is making me lean towards a CF vinyl and not actual CF material.

Sorry, i thought it was answered already. It's wrapped in Carbin fiber vinyl. He uses 1/2" PLASTIC sheets to make it. He can wrap it in real CF sheets if you want, but it'll just be more money. It's kinda pointless since it's still a wrap and not actually CF.

this is his instagram account. Hit him up. I think they're going for $160-180. I would say $180 since the e90 is a bit longer. But yeah, tell him Jay Dang sent you and he'll hook it up.
