Does the 340i LSD (manual) also work with the m240i? If so, I would like to buy one for my incoming m240i 6-speed. I'm only see the automatic LSD listed for the F22.

Shame on you, BMW. A rebate? Really? Just put the products on sale, and don't hope that customers will forget to mail in the rebate form so you can still sell at full price.
